medullary cone
Acronym:
The term medullary cone refers to a surface feature of the spinal cord identified by dissection. Found in all vertebrates, it is the conical termination of the spinal cord. It extends from the border of the lumboscral enlargement to the terminal filament ( Carpenter-1983, Lockhart-1959, Swanson-2014 ).
